Vendor Spotlight -- BASIC INVITE (wait till you see their spring invite options!)

It's been a little while since I featured a vendor, but you guys, I am SO EXCITED to share this one with you! It's literally been years since I felt like I knew of a great paper-goods company for those stunning invitation suites, but I not only have found an incredible one to share with you, but they seriously do soooo much more than just invitations!

Meet Basic Invite. (Which, for the record, is anything but basic!)

Basic Invite offers not only amazing options for wedding invitations (and any other kind of invitation), they offer FULL suites -- meaning you can match your menu cards and thank you cards (and shower invites, and place cards, and save-the-dates...) to your wedding invitation. Plus they literally have 180 different colors that you can use to customize your design so it matches perfectly with your wedding colors! Check out this sample that I customized to match my own branding scheme!

Every single color, every ring of that gorgeous agate geode, every piece of type on that invitation was custom selected (and the back is just as beautiful!). Even better? They offer custom color envelopes too (with 40 color options)!

I know a lot of my couples are planning their spring weddings right now, so I did a little digging into their spring lineup. You guys, they have an entire category of "botanicals" that is absolutely swoon worthy (plus other spring themes)! The floral above was easily one of my favorites, but I also found this beautiful fold-out set (with a tear-off RSVP card too!).

And one of my personal favorites from their spring styles? Clearly it has a cactus. Clearly

This is the part where I feel like a game show host (or maybe an infomercial host?) -

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!

No really, there is. And this might actually be the most impressive part to me -- they offer custom wedding websites too! FOR FREE. That means not only can every single printed product your heart desires be coordinated, custom, and delightful, your wedding website will match too. Go here to see how to make a wedding website

Wedding websites are such an important tool, and every one of their sites is easy to use and mobile friendly. That means your guests can stay up to date on all the details easily, and all in one place. And if you're one of my destination couples, you know how crucial this is! You can instantly upload all of your wedding details along with images (put that engagement shoot to good use!) and a map with directions which is super convenient for your guests. Add hotel information too, especially if you have guests that are traveling to you!

PS - they have adorable destination invites too -- this boarding pass one is one of my favorites!

If you know me at all, you know that I don't recommend companies or vendors often. I only recommend it when I really and truly believe in the service provided, so trust me when I say that I have been blown away by Basic Invite. Not only do I love it from a photographer stand point (because, hellooooo beautiful details!), but I've actually gone through the process of ordering the sample sets pictured here. With over 800 invitation options available, there is something for every event, that can be customized and then tested before you purchase. Most invite companies don't allow you to print a single sample with your details so that you can see it and touch it in person, but Basic Invite does and for an extremely reasonable price. Having the peace of mind that it all looks perfect before you place your huge order is such a bonus!

The last detail I want to tell you about seems small, but it was one of my favorites -- free address collection. I remember sitting at my mom's kitchen table for hours, pouring over address books, making phone calls, and then hand-addressing hundreds of invitations. It felt like a minor form of torture. To know that you can simply send out a link, collect addresses, and then have printed envelopes done sounds like the most amazing invention EH-VER.

How cute is that First Birthday party invite?!? The options are seriously endless, friends.

If you're ready to get this process started, or if you're just curious, head over to Basic Invite and browse around what they have (or visit their instagram). And don't forget to use the code 15FF51 for an extra 15% off their already stellar prices!

I can't wait to photograph your suite for your wedding! Leave a comment below to tell me which one is your favorite (I'm still swooning for that geode one!).
